even though there is lots of 'works' going on around the hotel, the rooms were quiet from outside noise. noises from romms above though are very evident- heavy, noisy footsteps- that is, the rooms are not very sound proof. overall though, our stay was pleasant. reception staff excellent

My wife and I spent two nights at this establishment over the Queens Birthday weekend. We had a one bedroom studio apartment. It was small but new and very clean with a view over the Queen Victoria Melbourne Market. We got a good deal - $124 per night which included a full buffet breakfast for two on each morning. Car parking was $17.00 per night, discounted from $24.00 through the hotel.
I'd stay there again!

Good location with fabulous city views. Rooms were compact but modern and functional.
No Rubbish Bin in Kitchen
Hotel was very hot, especially in the floors and the breakfast/bar.
Shower was cold in the morning during peak time

The Hotel was great. Was very quiet and walking distance to CBD. The staff were excellent especially the staff member (young lady - sorry I didn't catch her name)on the night desk (7pm) who was very pleasant and assisted us with a number of things during our stay. The breakfast was good and had everything we wanted. I couldn't find a hairdryer but it was a minor hiccup. I would recommend this hotel.
