Quaint and old fashioned like an old Club and very clean but felt a bit lacking. Restaurant however is first class and a bit of a secret.

The hotel is very old and I was quite irritated with the ancient lift. With all the options available in Brisbane of the same price range, I would not go back to the Inchcolm.

Room Air conditioner totally inadequate for the large room size. Woke in a sweat both nights
Needs supplementary ceiling or stand alone fans
Restaurant fantastic, but not open on Sunday night. As this was the reason I chose to stay at this hotel, I was very disappointed.

A majestic hotel with lots of history and original wood. The lift is from a bygone era- an open cage with the two doors that need opening. The hotel is small, very clean and quiet and one of the cheapest in Brisbane, especially for how close to the CBD it is. A little bit inconvenient to get to in a car or taxi but over the road from the train station and an easy 5 minute walk to the city. Will definitely stay again.
