| Hotel Sophia is located in the west end of Melbourne CBD, on the corner of King and Little Lonsdale St and is only a few hundred metres walk from Southern Cross Station and the Skybus Super Shuttle.
From Tullamarine Airport: Hotel Sophia is located 24 kilometres from Tullamarine Airport. A low cost option is to catch the Skybus Super Shuttle which leaves the airport terminal every 10-15 minutes during the day and only takes 20 minutes from the airport to the city. The new City Terminal is now located opposite the corner of Spencer and Little Bourke Streets, at Southern Cross Station. Tickets may be purchased from the driver. A taxi on the other-hand is a more expensive option and normally takes 25-40 minutes.
From Avalon Airport: The Sunbus operates from Avalon Airport to Southern Cross Station. There is no pre-booking required and tickets can be purchased from the Sunbus counter. The Sunbus meets all arriving and departing flights from Avalon Airport 7 days per week. |
